Mourinho had many a duel with Ferguson when he managed Chelsea

Madrid manager Jose Mourinho will be in attendance this weekend as
Manchester United welcome fierce rivals Liverpool to Old Trafford.
The
former Chelsea boss has revealed he will be making the first of up to
four scouting trips as he prepares his Real team to face old foe Sir
Alex Ferguson in the Champions League.
Ferguson's
United meet Real in the last 16 with the first leg being played at the
Bernabeu on February 13 and the second at Old Trafford on March 5.
'I have already told Sir Alex Ferguson I am coming,' Mourinho told The Sun. 'Manchester United against Liverpool - it is a great game.
'And I always want to see my opponents play live, I like to go there and see for myself.
'Hopefully
before we play United, I will have time to see them three or four
times. I’m sure Sir Alex will do the same. He will come to watch us
too.'
